Александра Боднарчук є перша карпатьско-русиньска америцька хореоґрафка, яка створює модерны творы, скапчаны з фолклором. Тым кіпом, робота Боднарчук має унікалну перспективу, способну споїти довєдна різновидну ґрупу інтерсекційных ідентичностей.

«Дома» ся перекладать як “at home” по анґліцькы.

З ребрендінґом на «Дoma Dance Theater» Боднарчук называть три найважны речі в своїй роботї:

  1. Концепція дома як централной темы її творчостей.

  2. Її походжіня й културны капчі з ідеёв «дім».

  3. Окружіня, котре она стврює про своїх артистів.

Alexandra Bodnarchuk is the first Carpatho Rusyn American choreographer to make contemporary work with a folk lens. As such, Bodnarchuk’s work holds a unique lens that has the capacity to bring together a diverse group of intersectional identities. 

дома (English: Doma) in the Rusyn language means "at home".

In rebranding to Дoma Dance Theater, Bodnarchuk names the 3 most important things in her work:

  1. The concept of home as a central theme of her works. 

  2. Her heritage, and her cultural relationship to home. 

  3. The environment she creates for her artists.
